From the Back Cover:
So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep?
Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love – all forgotten overnight.
And the one person you trust may only be telling you half the story.
Welcome to Christine’s life.
Jo read this book:
Why did you choose to read this book?: I read ‘I let you go’ last year and a friend said that if I enjoyed that I would like ‘Before I go to sleep’.
What did you like most about this book?: The book is about Christine, a middle-aged woman with amnesia, who wakes up each morning thinking she’s in her 20s. It’s an interesting concept but I’m not sure how realistic it is in terms of amnesia symptoms.
I enjoyed the first part of the book when she is trying to piece her life back together and the end is gripping!
Anything you didn’t like about this book?: Due to the plot there was a lot of repetition. There are a couple of things that don’t add up like the fact that the second mobile phone given to her by her psychiatrist never needs charging! I did have my suspicions about where the plot was going (and was right!). I would have preferred a complete surprise!
