Using a book journal to record your reading

Keeping track of the books you’ve read over the year is not only a useful reference but is a good motivator to show how much reading you’ve done.

I keep a log in my book journal and also on Goodreads, as well as the Love to Read website of course. The book journal is probably my favourite method as I have all my books to hand and I’d like to think it’s something my children would be interested to read one day.

I’d recommend getting one if you’re doing the #12booksin12months challenge and see how much reading you can do this year. You can pick them up easily on Amazon.

I have a beautiful British Library book journal to GIVE AWAY to one lucky reader! It’s a lovely notebook in itself, with a strong fabric cover. It’s around A6 in size and has a ribbon page marker. There’s also sections to list books you plan to read and the format of the review sections themselves is really clear and simple.

  3. Don’t forget the hashtag #12booksin12months
